My colleague
and myself came to Jaipur last evening after connecting to the Jet Airways flight
from New Delhi. The capital city of Rajesthan, Jaipur is known globally as Pink
City and is recognized as one of the ten most beautiful cities of India. My
Indian friends associate Jaipur as the epitome of a vibrant and colourful
living traditions in India, attracting lovers of art, history and architecture.
My friend and
myself are yet to explore the beautiful city of Jaipur and I have silently
resolved that anything that I capture through the lens of my iPhone in Jaipur
shall find a place in this blog later on.
However, for
the timebeing, let me take my readers through the picturesque travel over the
air captured on my iPhone.
For the
record, I must mention that my friend and myself were lucky to have had the
opportunity to travel in the business class in our national airline Druk Air.
Except for few rich tourists, it was just the two of us travelling in the
business class thereby alleviating the tedium and discomfort of the two hrs
flight to Delhi and making us entitled to all the extra amenities and perks that is enjoyed in the business class. The best of
all, however, was the freedom that I had to move to any empty seats, right or
left, to capture the best scenes as we flew over the high Himalayan ranges!
